The nursery is part of Alpha Community Nurseries and is group of small community based nurseries offering high quality, home from home child care and benefits from being part of a small group with an extended network but retains its own individual identity and community feel.
The nursery manager Sophie Brooks will be over seeing Hollesley Community Nursery as well as Old School House Community Nursery in Eyke.
Sophie feels that the nursery priority is to provide a nurturing environment in which children develop secure relationships to support them in their learning and development.
The nursery offers provisions for children from 2-5years. Current sessions are between 7:30-18:00 all year round.
Sophie hopes to develop the nursery with support from all parents and the community as the name of the nursery suggests and continues with the wonderful work the previous pre-school staff did.
Sophie believes that as an organisation, children are raised best within communities and endeavour to build good community links in the areas surrounding the nursery. She hopes to strongly encourage parents and the local community to be involved in all aspects of the services the nursery offers and welcome any comments or suggestions.
